Project 1

Final Project 1 Design

Wearable Interactive Affordance Based Circuit

The final wearable design incorporates as rose necklace that lights up when the battery is placed in between both ends of the straps. The LED light is activated through a circuit created with conductive thread, an LED light bulb and a coin cell battery. The wearbale can be worn around the neck as a statement piece or worn as an accessory.

Non-Wearable Interactive Affordance Based Circuit

The final design incorporates a paper bookmark that lights up through the hole when closed. It can serve as a bookmark, book light, and even a flashlight. It uses a simple circuit made with copper tape and a coin cell battery. The circuit works when the battery is placed at the inside fold of the bookmark and can be secured with a string with the hole made in the center.
